Bergeron Art + Frame.

Posted October 30, 2024

Two of my drawings from the Half-life series are on view at Bergeron Art + Frame in Windsor, ON! Half-life and Better Half will be hanging in the store through December 21, 2024, offering those unable to attend my recent solo show a second chance to see two of the eight pieces in person.

Bergeron Art + Frame has been such a valued resource to me throughout my work on the Half-life series. Owner Laura Tucker went the extra mile (and then some!) to ensure that all eight drawings were presented and preserved in ideal fashion. Bergeron ordered the materials I needed and then allowed me to do the final assembly myself, which shows their eagerness to work with artists on a personal, individual basis.

I was truly honoured by Laura’s invitation to display a selection of the Half-life works in Bergeron’s beautiful showroom. You can visit them at 5640 Wyandotte St. E. in the Olde Riverside neighbourhood. Bergeron Art + Frame is open Wednesday through Saturday each week.

Posted September 23, 2024.

To celebrate the opening of the Half-life show at ArtSpeak Gallery, I’d like to offer the Half-life series playlist (expanded edition) as my gift to you! It’s everything you love about the original eight-song playlist, now expanded to one hundred amazing tracks! Find it on Spotify at: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4MeOfW9QLfNTQJgtO1iXjF?si=e0a0a4ef33f045d7

All one hundred songs on the playlist are by female or female-led acts, and they span the history of popular music from the 1940s to the present day. The artists represented include diverse acts from around the world. Each track corresponds to at least one drawing in the Half-life series: see if you can guess which piece each song relates to!
